Michael Mansouri is a visionary CEO who brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in global high tech businesses. Mr. Mansouri has a proven track record in general management, P&L management, sales and marketing. He is skilled in raising capital, building sales channels, scaling companies to profitability, successfully conducting M&A and IPO activities. Mr. Mansouri began his career at Sprint International where he held a host of senior management positions in sales and marketing. At Intermedia Communications, Mr. Mansouri was responsible for enhanced data services and led the acquisition of Digex. In 1998, he became COO of broadband services at Teleglobe Business Solutions. Between 1999 and 2001, Mr. Mansouri served as chairman, president and CEO of iPass Inc., a premier provider of global remote access services. Mr. Mansouri joined OmniTrust Security Systems, as president and CEO in 2002 and sold the company in 2005 to Heisei Denden of Japan.
Mr. Mansouri earned a succession of degrees including B.S. in Computer Science and Statistics from Utah State University, MS in Management Sciences from George Washington University (Omega Rho) and the MIT Sloan School of Management program in corporate strategy. Prior to the creation of Avalon Global Solutions, Inc., David Russie was Chairman and CEO of Net Results Group, Inc. (NRG), a leading Telecom Expense Management provider based in Hampton, VA. Mr. Russie has over 20 years of technology, telecommunications and operations experience including AT&T where he led a team that won the Malcolm Baldridge Award. As CSO, Mr. Russie oversees AGS' commercial and government sector Direct and Indirect sales channels as well as Bid & Proposal and Contract Management. Mr. Russie holds a BA from Eastern Michigan University, a M.S. in Information Management and Communication from Walsh College, and completed an Executive MBA program from AT&T/Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania. Prior to the creation of Avalon Global Solutions, Joe Chopek was President of The Net Results Group, Inc. (NRG), and the founder of and principal shareholder in the Net Results, Inc., NRG’s precursor. NRG was a Telecom Expense Management and Mobile Lifecycle Management provider based in Hampton, VA. Mr. Chopek brings over 30 years of experience to AGS and he heads domestic and international business development and strategic partnership relations. Mr. Chopek was a founder of Blue Ridge Telephone, a long distance IXC, and of Telemanagement Services, a billing software company. Mr. Chopek earned a B.S. degree in Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and a M.S. in Business and Finance from George Washington University and is a Vietnam era Disabled Veteran. Dr. Hossein Eslambolchi, Chairman of 2020 Venture Partners, is recognized in the scientific community as one of the foremost thought leaders and technological scientists of the 21st century. A quintessential communications visionary, he champions the creation and delivery of pragmatic and transformational business strategies. Dr. Eslambolchi was tapped by AT&T to become their Chief Transformation Officer in 2003. As such, he developed a comprehensive four-stage strategy that included Enterprise Customer Service, Network Transformation, Services Transformation and Cultural Transformation; essentially, the overhaul and remodeling of the company that SBC dubbed, the 'new' AT&T. In addition to serving as AGS’ CTO, Dr. Eslambolchi is a senior technical advisor to Ericsson for building a global ecosystem that converges wireline and wireless telecommunications using IP based technologies. He is also nominated to win the US Presidential Science and Technology Medal for his significant contribution to the development of current IP Technology that serves as the foundation for all internet applications. L. Scott Perry leads Avalon Advanced Mobility Solutions (AAMS), the joint venture of AGS and GPXS. Mr. Perry is also currently the President and a board member of GPXS Holdings and a board member of GPXS Services AG. Prior assignments include 13 years as AT&T Vice President and corporate officer, with leadership roles in Strategy/Business Development, New services Marketing and Sales and 15 years as an IBM senior executive with assignments in General Management, Marketing, and Sales management. Prior to joining IBM, Mr. Perry was a Naval Officer. Mr. Perry holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Cornell University and a Masters in Management from Stanford University. Steven Rottinghaus was the Chief Marketing Officer of Net Results Group, Inc. (NRG), a leading Telecom Expense Management and Mobile Lifecycle Management provider in Hampton, VA. Prior to the creation of Avalon Global Solutions, inc. Keith Smith was the COO of Net Results Group, Inc. (NRG), a leading Telecom Expense Management and Mobile Lifecycle Management provider based in Hampton, VA. Mr. Smith has over 20 years of telecommunications, accounting, and operations experience with such firms as Network Long Distance and Eclipse Communications. Mr. Smith is one of the designers of AGS software and Customer Service platforms and he has led the AGS and NRG client services group for over 10 years. As EVP of Operations, Mr. Smith oversees AGS' Expense Management and Audit practice, as well as Help Desk Operations, Program Management and Financial Accounting. Ms. Hampton brings over 32 years of experience in account management, global alliance/partnership development, corporate IT and customer service experience with AT&T/Bell System companies. Ms. Hampton’s experience includes Global team management with resources based in US, EMEA and Asia Pac regions. Her last position at AT&T was as the Global Account Director managing the relationship between AT&T and Microsoft. Most recently Ms. Hampton was the Executive Director for Link Technologies – Partnership Services. At AGS, Ms. Hampton focuses on direct and indirect channel development/management. Larry Schwartz has over 30 years of executive leadership and experience in commercial, academic, government, and international markets, including several VP level positions during an 18 year tenure at EDS. As Executive Vice President of Security and Infrastructure for AGS, Mr. Schwartz is responsible for managing the strategic direction of AGS' Information Security and Network Infrastructure departments. Mr. Schwartz earned a M.S. in Electrical Engineering and an Executive MBA from George Washington University. Michael T. Parks Vice President Commercial Sales Mr. Parks brings more than 20 years of experience in Telecommunications sales, marketing, negotiations and account management. Skilled in engaging industry leading clients in their respected fields, from the NBA, food service retailer, pharmacy retailer, and health and beauty services to name a few has continued to reach and exceed annual target goals that directly impacts the growth of our business. Prior to Avalon Global Solutions Mr. Parks was Director of Commercial Sales for Net Results Group, Inc. a leading Telecom Expense Management/Mobile Lifecycle Management provider. Mr.Parks began his career in Telecommunications with Teledial America a regional long distance provider and was a top performer 5 straight years and awarded salesperson of the year (1990). Mr. Parks earned a B.S. in Marketing and Advertising from Ferris State University where he held the position of President of the Advertising Society Organization.
Ray Kalantar, PhD Vice President Product Development
Mr. Kalantar has over 27 years of experience in Information Technology that includes System Architecture, full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Configuration Management (SCM), System Integration, and Project Management. He has extensive experience managing information systems for both Federal Government and Commercial enterprises. Mr. Kalantar has held positions at Northrop Grumman Corp., MCI/WorldCom, and Washington Consulting Group. Mr. Kalantar holds a B.S. degree in Engineering and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Economics. Marshall Weingarden Vice President Professional Services
Mr. Weingarden has 40-years experience in telecommunications and information technology including 32-years as President of Communication Advisors, Inc. Mr. Weingarden has extensive Bell System experience and over 35-years of telecommunications and telecommunications management consulting experience involving wired and RF technologies, IT technology and networks, call centers and educational technology for public schools and universities. He developed and implemented project management processes for large, multi-vendor projects, was an early developer of telecom inventory and call accounting software and holds a U.S. patent for an Integrated Learning System. Mr. Weingarden manages AGS’ Bid & Proposal process, pricing and contract review. Mr. Weingarden holds a B.A. degree from Wayne State University.
