 Ray Kalantar Joins Avalon Global Solutions as VP of Product Development 

Hampton, VA – October 23, 2009 – Avalon Global Solutions, Inc. (AGS), a provider of comprehensive and sophisticated Mobile Lifecycle Management services for mobile computing and communications, announced the appointment of Ray Kalantar as the Vice President of Product Development for AGS.  As VP of Product Development, Mr. Kalantar will manage the strategic direction of the AGS IT group supporting its current products, Marketing and Sales, and developing new products and services that enable its customers to effectively and securely utilize emerging technologies. 

Mr. Kalantar has over 26 years of experience in Information Technology that includes System Architecture, full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Configuration Management (SCM), System Integration, and Project Management.   He has extensive experience managing information systems for both Federal Government and commercial enterprises. He held positions at Northrop Grumman Corp., MCI/WorldCom, and Grants Management System at Washington Consulting Group. Mr. Kalantar holds a B.S. degree in Engineering and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Economics.
